Makan Makan Cafe Kota Kemuning

This is a little cafe/kopitiam serving local dishes.

Wikimapia Link

Yam Cake is not bad, ample gravy and chilli. And ample bawang, yum.

Mee Siam. I think the sambal is go well with the bihun.

Nasi Lemak rendang ayam. Crunchy ikan bilis, a decent rendang and sambal.

A nice place to eat, or have a chat, the seating inside the aircon area is quite comfy.

Sisters Curry Laksa Puchong

This is branch of the popular curry laksa in seapark.

Mmm.. SIHAM!!!! I love it in a laksa. Anyway the ingredient use is good, but the soup was a little strong/salty for me. I prefer a lighter soup. Maybe its that day, I dunno.

Ipoh Sar Hor Fun with taugeh. So-so fare, in fact the soup could do with more flavour.

Business here is not as popular maybe due to too many restaurants. But I think its worth a try if you're around the area and wanna get siham.

Happy City Steamboat Kepong

Wikimapia Link
One day my friend recommend me seafood steamboat non-buffet one, so I agreed.
This is next to Carrefour Kepong and parking is kinda tricky. But I got lucky and parked right in front. We order the seafood set for RM138 which had crab, whole fish (filleted liao), tiger prawn, clam, couple of scallops and assorted stuff.

Big shell lala/clam, great in herbal soup (+RM10, no refill but is really tasty)

You get two crabs that come with the Seafood Set

I separately order normal set RM13.80 per person, here is for 2 people set.

We added on many item also like mushroom, fish paste

I like this one, the left is Lion Head and the right is Seaweed Fishball.

Lion Head nice, I eated so many.

Overall this is a good place to eated, crowded also! Although I stay far I will still come here with friends. That day 7 of us the bill RM280! We ordered too much liao.

Pantai Seafood Restaurant Kampung Kayu Ara

This restaurant serves mainly seafood, there is a decent selection of fresh seafood in the tanks below. If you go on weekend better to book, it gets crowding.

Ordered Sharksfin soup arounf RM12 per bowl, they say "yee chee lou fan" (sharkfin mix rice) so I also do.

Seong Thong Yuen Choy (Yuen Choy in Superior Soup). So so la, nowadays this dish is too common everywhere.

Salad Fried Prawns. Crunchy, yummy, this one is a favourite especially if you got kids dining together.

I just love codfish, this piece was around RM40, quite reasonable and was just nice, not overcook.

This outlet serves pork too unlike many "seafood outlets" but I did not try any as I came for the seafood. I saw the tank there got "French Turbot, RM258/kg" huhuhu quite expense...
